ABSTRACT

Marriage is an inner and outer bond between a man and a woman as husband and wife with the aim of forming a prosperous family. A prosperous family is defined as the smallest unit in society consisting of a husband or wife and their children. Promiscuity in general is the deviant behavior of an individual or group. This deviant attitude crosses the boundaries of rules, obligations, demands, conditions and feelings of shame. Promiscuity can also be interpreted as deviant behavior that violates social and religious norms. Often teenagers are the ones who engage in deviant behavior. Because, adolescence is a period of searching for one's identity starting from the age of 10 years until the age of 19 years is adolescence. This type of research uses quantitative research using a cross sectional design. The sample in this Studi amounted to 47 respondents. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out univariately and bivariately with the chi-square test (a=0.05). The research results showed that the factors related to promiscuity were knowledge (p-value=0.001), attitude (p-value=0.022), education (p-value=0.001), parenting style (p-value=0.048), and the role of peers (p-value=0.022).
