Abstract

Communication is more important in the nursing profession because communication is the main method of the

nursing process. Therapeutic communication includes interpersonal communication with the starting point of mutual understanding between nurses and patients. Patient satisfaction is the level of satisfaction experienced by patients as a result of the process of providing health services that meet their expectations. Patients feel important and safe by sharing their feelings and experiences. This study has a purpose, namely to determine the relationship between therapeutic communication between nurses and the level of satisfaction of health services for outpatients at the General Poly Health Center of seberang Padang in 2024. The method used in this study is quantitative witha cross sectional design approach, with a population and sample of 113 respondents calculated using the Slovin formula and determined by the Spearman Rank test on SPSS. The results of this study are in line with the results of the study (Astutik, 2018). patient satisfaction. many complaints about professional care.
